Thematic planning seeks to view teaching and learning in an interactive and holistic way
that reflects the real world. The units are made up of a variety of learning opportunities that are planned around themes or topics chosen by the children. Our Friend's House plans the
units with the purpose of integrating several areas within the curriculum and inspiring the children’s natural curiosity. The direction of learning is driven by the children, allowing them to
establish a relationship with the subjects, delivering a deeper engagement with their learning and ultimately their understanding.
Our Friend's House is operated as a non profit. All your fees are invested back into the school to ensure we create an inspiring education for your children. We operate 3 days a week and aim to compliment your own approach to home schooling. Our Friend’s House has a maximum of 12 children to maintain the intimate environment we cherish, so please register to find out more about securing a place for September 2014.
